使用しているWindows8(8.1)がどちらのバージョンなのかを簡単に確認する方法を２つ紹介します。
以下の操作方法によりコマンドプロンプトで簡単にWindows8なのかWindows8.1なのかを確認することができます。
Microsoft Windows [Version 6.2.xxxx]
Microsoft Windows [Version 6.3.xxxx]
実際にverコマンドを実行したときの出力です。
コマンドプロンプト起動すると既にバージョンが表示されていますね。

ちなみに下表はverによる出力に対するWindowsのバージョン(エディション)です。
